Quotations of Spare Parts Procedure
PV After Sales & Spare Parts Team, in conjunction with our Technical Department, directly oversee spare parts proposals and is able to fulfil all clients’ requests, ensuring complete interchangeability between the parts to be replaced and the new ones.
When a client requires a Spare Parts quotation, the PV After Sales & Spare Parts Team proceeds with collecting all information relating to the valves (PV JOB/ Item/ Valve Serial Number and TAG Number) and issues the relevant S.P.I.R. (Spare Parts List and Interchangeability Record) including all necessary information to identify the components, inclusive of dedicated part numbers and cost, enabling the placement of the relevant parts order.
Upon delivery of a valve order, if requested, the client can be provided with a general S.P.I.R. including all the recommended spares related the scope of supply both for the start up and for the following 2 years of operations. This additional service makes the client aware of the suggested spares to be stored for any eventual activity which could be carried out on PV Valves in the future.

branch offices around the world.
Spare Parts Job Coordination
Purchase orders for Spare parts are managed directly by After Sales & Spare Parts Department through Job Coordinators, which are based in PV Headquarters in Castellanza to facilitate more effective coordination between workshop and warehouse through job completion.
After the PO is received, a Spare Parts job number is assigned and the file is passed to a job coordinator in order to purvey all the necessary materials and to supervise all supply phases until the goods are ready for shipment.
Our job coordination team is always at our client’s disposal, in order to provide information relating to job status, to supply shipping documents certificates and for expediting activities with client representatives or nominated third parties. In addition, Job Coordinators organize and coordinate all testing activities related to refurbishment process.
