CLAMP INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
-
Actuator can be removed and reinstalled on the valve with a simple operation on ROV interface, independently from valve position
-
Actuator self engages after subsea installation and automatically matches valve stem after first operation
-
During the first operation of the actuator, the clutch stem on actuator rotates independently from the clutch stem on spool until teeth and slots on the two pieces are aligned
-
As soon as teeth and slots are aligned, the clutch spring pushes the clutch stem on actuator and it engages with the clutch stem on spool
-
When the clutch stem is engaging with valve stem, the engagement indicator arrow moves from U (unlocked) letter to L (locked) letter
